Governing Bodies
of the Association<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The supreme governing body of the Association is the General Assembly<\/strong><\/span>, which convenes once every four years. The next General Assembly will be held in the spring of 2030. <\/p>

The supreme body of the Association between individual General Assemblies is the Central Council<\/strong><\/span>. Its membership consists of the President<\/strong><\/span>, members of the Presidium<\/strong><\/span> (Vice-Presidents), and four regional representatives from across Slovakia<\/strong><\/span>. <\/p>

President of the Association
Ing. Michal Kvanta<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

He was elected at the 8th Assembly of the Slovak Union of Reservists (SZVvZ) in 2019. He replaced Miroslav J\u00e1no\u0161<\/strong><\/span>, who held this position practically since the Union\u2019s establishment after Slovakia\u2019s independence\u2014serving for 26 years. <\/p>

He also currently serves as Vice-Chairman of AVOZ SR, an association uniting military-oriented non-governmental organizations with close ties to the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In accordance with the modernised organisational structure adopted at the 8th General Assembly, the Central Council also includes representatives of four regions, based on the administrative division of the Slovak Republic established for the organisational purposes of the Association \u2014 Bratislava<\/strong><\/span>, West<\/strong><\/span>, Central<\/strong><\/span>, and East<\/strong><\/span>. <\/p>

Regional representatives ensure communication with the clubs falling under their respective regions and advocate for the interests of the individual regions of Slovakia with regard to the development of the Association’s activities.<\/p>

    The remit of the individual members of the Presidium includes, among other things, the oversight and management of the respective commissions<\/strong><\/span>, which serve as the advisory and executive component<\/span><\/strong> of the organisational structure of the Slovak Association of Reservists. Commission members are responsible for the implementation of individual tasks drawn up by the Presidium and approved by the Central Council, and personally participate in their execution. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
