GOVERNING BODIES
OF THE ASSOCIATION

The highest governing body of the Association is the Assembly, convened once every four years. The next Assembly will take place in 2026.

The highest authority of the Association between Assemblies is the Central Council. It consists of nine voting members, with the President of the Association holding the deciding vote in the event of a tie. Its composition includes the President, four members of the Presidium (Vice Presidents), and four regional representatives of Slovakia.

The executive body of the Association between Assemblies is the Presidium, and the statutory representative of the Association is the President.

PRESIDENT OF THE ASSOCIATION
ING. MICHAL KVANTA

He was elected at the 8th Assembly of the Slovak Union of Reservists (SZVvZ) in 2019. He replaced Miroslav Jánoš, who held this position practically since the Union’s establishment after Slovakia’s independence—serving for 26 years.

He is an advocate of modernizing the Union and returning it to its original purpose and mission.

He also currently serves as Vice-Chairman of AVOZ SR, an association uniting military-oriented non-governmental organizations with close ties to the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic.

MEMBERS OF THE PRESIDIUM

The Presidium consists of the President and four Vice Presidents, each specializing in key areas relevant to the Union’s development and operations.

All members who actively contribute to the Union deserve significant appreciation and respect. Their work is voluntary, and they devote a considerable amount of their free time to it.
